Last Sunday Magna hosted our first ever blogger event at the always wonderful Kettlebell Kitchen, featuring a session led by one of our newest partners – Skot from Fera.

This being our first event (it is #Newvember after all!), we invited some of our favourite health & fitness bloggers from across the north west to come workout with us, followed of course by some awesome healthy treats! From the moment Skot brought out the sticks at the beginning of the session, the bloggers knew they were in for something new – they had to pair up and evade each others advances with the stick as a warm up.

Sticking with the theme of #Newvember, Skot introduced us all to  calathletics; a movement based session centred around testing muscles that we don’t use in our everyday lives to condition them. This included plenty of floorwork and  bodyweight exercises that pushed them harder than they’d expected – even our action man CEO Adam was beginning to feel the strain!

After the session, we were treated to a buffet of miniature versions of Kettlebell Kitchen’s finest breakfast delights. From breakfast burritos to peanut butter pancakes to smoothies there was something for everyone – brunch went down a treat! It was great being able to introduce Kettlebell kitchen to a whole host of newbies since it;s one of our favourite spots in Manchester.

Thanks again to all of the amazing bloggers that came to Magna x Fera – we’re really glad you enjoyed it. If you like what you’ve seen of Fera and want to give it a try, you can find more sessions here at Magna. We thought we’d finish this post with possibly the most amazing Boomerang we’re ever seen; we can’t get enough!

You can find a great range of fitness classes on Magna, have a browse and see what takes your fancy!
